poss{\'{\i}}vel definir a zona de maior densidade de diques e os
aspectos de sua heterogeneidade, bem como propor a
localiza{\c{c}}{\~a}o do {\'a}pice do arqueamento. Aventou-se
como limite sul o Alinhamento de Iva{\'{\i}}, ora definido
preliminarmente a partir das Imagens MSS-LANDSAT, tendo-se suposto
como limite norte o Alinhamento de Guapiara, j{\'a} definido na
literatura. Baseando-se em mapas de is{\'o}pacas de v{\'a}rias
unidades estratigr{\'a}ficas da Bacia do Paran{\'a}, nas
propostas ora feitas, e na proposta do Alinhamento de Guapiara,
procurou-se esbocar a evolu{\c{c}}{\~a}o do Arco de Ponta Grossa
desde o Devoniano ate o Juro-Cret{\'a}ceo. Na an{\'a}lise deste
conjunto de informa{\c{c}}{\~o}es p{\^o}de-se observar alguns
aspectos interessantes, entre os quais o aparente sincronismo
entre a atividade da Bacia do Paran{\'a} e do Arco de Ponta
Grossa, e o car{\'a}ter oposto entre os movimentos verticais da
zona do {\'a}pice e dos Alinhamentos de Guapiara e Iva{\'{\i}}.
ABSTRACT: A map of dikes was drawn up based on the visual analysis
of MSS-LANDSAT images. It includes a wide area under the influence
of the Ponta Grossa Arch both in the Paran{\'a} Basin and its
basement. The analysis of this map by means of phtographic methods
- greatly reduced for condensation of information and computation
- statistical treatmen for the directions of the intrusive rocks -
made it possible to define the zone of highest density of the
dikes and some aspects of the longitudinal and transverse
heterogeneities, as well as to localize the apex of the Arch. With
regard to the boarder lines of the Ponta Grossa Arch we have put
foward the suggestion of the Iva{\'{\i}} structural Alignment as
the southern boarder, while the northern boarder has been taken to
be the Guapiara structural Alignment as proposed in another paper.
Field works were carried out for the purpose of confirming the
suggested position of the apex of the flexure on Paleozoic
sediments and pre-lava Mesozoic sediments. Furthermore,
controversial aspects of the relative absence of dikes in certain
units or lithologies and the composition of the intrusions
surrounding the city of Castro (PR) were also observed. According
to isopach maps fo different units of the Paran{\'a} Basin and
the above mentioned proposals, an outline of the evolution of the
Arch from the Devonian to the Juro-Cretaceous period was built up.
It was thus possible to deduce several observations such as the
apparent synchronism between the activity of the Paran{\'a} Basin
and the Ponta Grossa Arch, as well as the frequent inverse
characteristics of the vertical movements of the latter together
with the structural Alignments of Guapiara and Iva{\'{\i}}.",
